M茅tis have always been a politically engaged people, with self-determination, collective action, freedom, provisionality, and relationality as central principles of how we govern and organize ourselves, from 19th century anti-colonial resistance movements to 20th and 21st century struggles for land and independence. This talk will explore some initial thoughts on M茅tis anarchism as a liberatory political project, grounded in Metis history and governance.
